Little things matter. Often we find that good Pilates is all about identifying and addressing the imbalances in our bodies. No good can come from reinforcing the "bad" habits the body has fallen into, you know? Sometimes you gotta wake up the little muscles that like napping in the backseat while the big ones drive.... Today Rachael was focusing on waking up the right side of her back using the first half of Roll Down with Bar. It may not look like much, but it was hard work! After about 5 reps the whole right side of her back was tired, but full of circulation. It was awake! Real talk: We don't know about you, but 2020 wreaked havoc on our bodies. It seems that everyone's stress is showing up in similar places. If you, like most of us, have been dealing with tight hip flexors, tight pecs, a stiff neck, round shoulders, and a tight mid and lower back, then this is the series for you.
