Good summer advice for parents in particular - Drowning is almost always a deceptively quiet event. The waving, splashing, and yelling that dramatic conditioning (television) prepares us to look for, is rarely seen in real life.

Folks, just to be clear - the Piedmont Swim Club is no more. It's now the City-run Piedmont Community Pool.
