Since we’re closing out Circle of Sisterhood week, we wanted to end by sharing what education means to our sister @reillygreenfield Education is important to me because it has helped me find what I am passionate about, which is art and design. Now I get to learn more about what I love everyday. I am going to use the programs and design principles that I am learning about right now, in my future job. Education is more than memorizing answers and studying for tests, it is a way to learn more about our surroundings and topics we’re passionate about.

This week Pi Beta Phi participated in National Hazing Prevention Week, a week long opportunity for campuses, communities, and organizations to come together to raise awareness about the problem of hazing. Pi Beta Phi Fraternity believes it is our role to be a premier example and change agent in preventing hazing, as it violates both the policies and core values of Pi Beta Phi. We must all actively take part in solving this problem, and aim to help our chapter be part of the generation of fraternity and sorority members who end hazing once and for all. Though the week is done, Pi Beta Phi will forever continue to spread awareness for this issue, and foster an inclusive, welcoming community that is hazing-free.
