Visa Advisory as of 01 October 2020 Pursuant to Resolution No. 60 of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) in the Philippines ...dated 30 July 2020, only Filipino nationals and certain foreign nationals are allowed entry to the Philippines. Filipino nationals may travel to the Philippines with any of the following documents: 1. Valid Philippine passport; 2. Travel Document; or 3. Dual Citizenship documents (original Identification Certificate (IC) issued by Philippine Consulate, Philippine Embassy or Philippine Bureau of Immigration and US passport). Foreign nationals, including former Filipino nationals who have acquired foreign citizenship, are currently not allowed entry to the Philippines, except for the following, and provided they have appropriate visas: a. Foreign spouses of Filipino nationals, regardless of nationality; b. Foreign minor children, and foreign children with special needs regardless of age, of Filipino nationals; and c. Foreign parents of minor Filipino children and of Filipino children with special needs regardless of age. The Consulate will return visa applications with incomplete documentary requirements. All in-person visa application are temporarily suspended, but we accept visa application by mail only. 9(A) Temporary Visitor’s Visa REQUIREMENTS: 1. Proof of marriage or filiation (original and photocopy of marriage certificate; original and photocopy of birth certificate for children). Please note that Philippine Bureau of Immigration Officials will also require foreign spouses and/or children of Filipino nationals to present these documents upon arrival in the Philippines, along with the visa. Based on the current regulation and IATF-EID resolutions, the Philippine Consulate General may only accept documentary proof issued by Philippine authorities or foreign governments, EXCEPT those inconsistent with Philippine regulations (e.g. same-sex marriage and common-law spouse certificates). 2. Letter-request by the Filipino spouse or parents/children addressed to the Consulate with copy of valid identification card issued by the Philippine government. 3. Proof of citizenship of the Filipino spouse or parent/child. (copy of valid Philippine passport; dual citizenship Identification Certificate) 4. Proof that the Filipino spouse or parent/child will be traveling with the visa applicant or is living in the Philippines. 5. Original passport and one (1) photocopy of the data page of the visa applicant’s passport (valid at least 6 months from return date). 6. Duly-accomplished Non-Immigrant visa application form (http://philippinessanfrancisco.org/uplo//Non_immigrant.pdf), typed or printed legibly in black or blue ink, and NOTARIZED by any notary public. 7. Travel itinerary (unpaid reservation is acceptable); 8. One (1) colored photo, 2 x 2, taken within six months before the date of application, showing a clear front view of applicant’s face, with white background. No sleeveless attire is allowed. Blurred or low quality photos are not accepted. 9. Proof of Financial Capacity (photocopy of latest bank statement and an employment certificate from the employer indicating position and salary, or affidavit of support). 10. For minor visa applicants (below 18) traveling on their own, affidavit of support and guarantee from either parent, as well as photocopy of parent's bank statement. 11. Self-addressed stamped return envelope (express or priority mail), with tracking number via US Postal Service (USPS), or from any private courier of choice, for mailing of the passport with visa. The return envelope should be paid for in advance by the applicant. Note: The Philippine Embassy/Consulate General assumes no responsibility for any delay or loss in the mail, or while the documents are in the custody of the courier service. The applicant should note the tracking numbers of all envelopes used and submitted. 12. Visa fee, according to the fee schedule below (non-refundable), may be paid for in cash or money order made payable to Philippine Consulate General. Personal checks and credit cards are not accepted. a. Single entry valid for three (3) months: US$ 30.00 b. Multiple entry valid for six (6) months: US$ 60.00 c. Multiple-entry valid for twelve (12) months: US$ 90.00 NOTE: If the visa holder in the Philippines would like to extend his/her stay beyond 59 days, an application for extension of stay must be filed at the Bureau of Immigration in Manila, or the Immigration office nearest the place where the applicant is temporarily residing. See Long Stay Visitor Visa Extension It is recommended that the visa holder also pre-book an Accredited Quarantine Facility and a COVID-19 Testing Provider.
