Happy Form Friday! Today, I review the proper, PURE FORM for the strength exercise: Dumbbell Pendulum Lunge Curl to Press! Simultaneously, perform a Biceps Curl as you step back into a Reverse Lunge with the foot on the same side as your dumbbell. As you step forward into a Forward Lunge position, perform a Shoulder Press.... Place the dumbbell under your chin before stepping back to a standing position. Once standing, control the dumbbell back down to the start position. Repeat as needed and address both sides of your body. Happy Form Friday! Today, I review the proper, PURE FORM for the core exercise: Hopping Spideys! Get into a High Plank position: Shoulders directly above your wrists and on your toes. Bring one knee up to the elbow on the same side of your body.... Hop to switch sides and drive the other knee up to its same side elbow. Every time your knee is up by your elbow pause. Repeat as need be. TIP: Keep your arms vertical. Do not lean back. Happy Form Friday! Today, I review the proper, PURE FORM for the leg exercise: Kneel to Squat Start in the kneeling position. Step up with the "leader" foot. TIP: Make sure to keep your knee directly above your foot. Then, step up with the "follower" foot.... Focus on keeping your body as low as possible in a seated postion. Step down with the "leader" foot. Back to the kneeling position. Step down with the "follower" foot. Repeat as necessary and switch the "leader" foot.
