Winterfest is coming! Celebrated every year on the first Friday of December, Winterfest at the Petterson Museum is the kick-off celebration of the season at Pilgrim Place. We rejoice with an exhibit that represents the season and hot tea and cider and holiday cookies. The tradition just wouldn't be the same without Michael Ryan and Friends playing our favorite holiday tunes. This year, we ask you to bring your own cider and cookies and we will bring the holiday cheer and Michael Ryan and Friends. Join us Friday, December 4, at 3:00 pm at pettersonmuseum.org for the link and kick-back and enjoy.

Have you seen our new website? In the fall of 2019, when the museum had its renovation, the Friends of the Petterson Museum and Pilgrim Place made the investment into also updating its website. It includes fresh and sharp colorful graphics, photos and videos. https://www.pettersonmuseum.org/. Stay up-to-date and come back often.

Pictured here is a document on one leg of a trade route. On this trip, the Huron was transporting rum, lemons, sugar, and coffee from Grenada to Middletown, CT.
