Top water temp has been at 70 the last couple days. Fishing has been good! Mr. Ferguson from Moreno Valley caught a 9.3lbs bass on Thursday using plastics, congratulations sir!! Reports of crappie and blue gill are still coming in too, both averaging at about 1 lb. Algae levels are now testing at a warning level!! Thursday 6/13, the lake will be treated for the algae so there will be no lake contact from 6am to 3pm, this includes fishing and boating. Top water temp has been 68 most of the week. Bass and Blue gill are still the popular catches. Some large size bass have been caught off the dock (9lbs) and the east end of the lake this week (7-8lbs). The back side of the island seems to be the spot for the blue gill, some nice sized ones are being reported and limits are being met. The weather is supposed to be warming up again, come out and see what you can reel in!! Happy Fishing!! Please continue to share your catches with the marina.

Top water temp this morning was 68. Fishing has been good out here! The dock has been good for bass, we had a nice seven pounder pulled out yesterday! The back side of Alessandro Island has been good for blue gill, we've been seeing stringers at max numbers! The east end of the lake is always a favorite for a little bit of everything! Good job on the 8lb bass on Sat. Joey! Come on out and see for yourself what's biting! Happy Fishing!!!

Top water temperature this morning was at 58. A couple days of bad weather this week put a damper on the fishing, but as soon as the sun came out it seemed the fish did too! Bass, Red Ear and Bluegill catches are being reported in numerous locations on the lake. The dock and east end of the lake have been great for the bass. Bluegill is being caught mainly around the dock, but both bluegill and red ear catches have been reported at the east end of the lake as well. Happy fishing!!!

Top lake water has been reading between 53 and 55. We have seen an increase in the bass lately, however they are still deep, about 20-25 ft. Reported catches are coming in from the east end of the lake and the marina dock, weighing in at an average of 6lbs! The blue gill and red ear catches are becoming more frequent as well. Please remember to share your pictures and catches with the marina!!!
