Peikert Performance Horses

Spooktacular was so fun! I am so grateful I get to spend my days working with these amazing horses. Vico and I had a good ride. We have some things to improve upon, however he put everything he had into that test. Alisha and Dini just continue to improve, I love watching their partnership grow.

There's a saying I've heard that goes something like this--- "A rider doesn't have soft hands because she has control of her hands and arms. She has soft hands because she has enough balance and security in her legs and center and core to allow her hands to be soft."

It was a lovely day at Del Mar! Thank you Alisha Hampton-Escobedo and Buck for such a great adventure. Vico and I made our debut at I1 and had a few mistakes but he tried so hard! I’m so proud of him. Thank you Holly for trusting me with such a special horse. Alisha and Houdini debuted 2nd level and won the class! Can’t wait for the next one.

It felt so good to go down centerline again!
