Jason's PCT Hike

To every person that followed my 2014 PCT hike. Recently an amazing movie was released about the hikers and trail of 2014. If you have any desire to truely see and understand what I went through,the people I met, and the stunning beauty I saw. I invite you to watch this incredibly well done film. If you are wondering if I am in it, I am for a brief momment at mile 700 at Kennedy meadows. 18 min and 20 seconds into the film. What I find incredible is how many of my own picture...s are spots that you will recognise throughout the movie. I know I talk and share frequently to friends and people I meet the storys of my journey. Yet, I feel it's difficult not to since the trail changed and affected my life in so many great ways. We recently had a group that passed through camp Tontozona were I have been working. I was asked to tell my story of the trail and my adventures the first night they arrived and was honored to do so. To those in that group that have been checking out my site I wish you all the best and remember never give up no matter what you do in life. I will miss all of you that where here at camp and hope that you can stay in touch. God bless, Chupakabra.

34 miles from the half way marker we all where stuck in the crazy town of Beldin, California.due to fires surrounding us we all were forced to stay 4 days until the forrestry dept. gave us the ok to continue on. The crazy part was we walked smack dab into a music festival that was absolutely wild. What happens in Beldin town shall remain in Beldin town. Just to protect the innocent.

Well as I connect with more and more of my Hikertrash friends I am getting more and more pictures of my trip. These photos were all taken in Washington except for the three of me at Crater Lake that Hannah a.k.a (Bisquit) took of me while in the state of Oregon. Thank you again my fellow hiker peeps for someone who had there phone stolen while on trail I sure have a ton of awesome pics! Once again family, friends and haters enjoy! lol Chupakabra strikes again.

It is so incredible to see the 2015 class researching your pages before they get ready to depart It brings me back to those awesome times on the trail with friends I miss greatly. I wish everyone in the upcoming class of 2015 all the best, meet as many people as possible, never give up, and most of all savor every momment good or bad because that is what your journey is all about. P.S. stay clear of the house on the hill aprox. 7-8 miles outside hikertown. Trust me on this one the old man doesn't dig hikers and he wears a gun on his hip to let you know!-ya i got a little lost that day. now lol I wasn't that day that's for dam sure. Oh ya don't let anyone on a horse tell you your late in Oregon or Washington because I wasn't.
