Thanyathep Nantapramote was lost in translation. Originally from Bangkok, Nantapramote took a quick field trip to Pasadena City College the minute he arrived in America. When he asked how far his cousin lived from the school, he was told to just sleep off the jet lag, and when he'd wake up, he'd find himself at home. He woke up in Ontario, 30 some miles away from Pasadena.... His cousin's suggestion? "Bus, of course." Read more about the plight of Pasadena City College's international students in this coming edition of Spotlight, PCC's student-run magazine. Coming this Spring semester.
