Paws On Dog Training

Class is cancelled for today I'll see everyone next week, same time as usual!

Good Morning! A new round of classes starts this morning! Please make sure your dog is wearing a properly fitting collar or harness ( they can't slip out ), a regular 6 ft nylon leash ( no retractables), and your dogs favorite bite sized treats. The remainder of payment is due at sign ins. Please make sure to keep control of your dogs and remain a distance far enough away from other dogs there is no interaction. We will work on this in the class

Puppy, Basics, and Level 2 graduates!

Hey guys! So, I know things are getting a little crazy again. Thankfully at this point I can still operate the group classes as they are outdoors, less than 10 people and the distance between people is usually at least 10ft mostly more. However, I will be offering a zoom option for anyone who doesn't feel comfortable attending in person. I will zoom the class as it's happening and there will be opportunity for personal questions and feedback just as with in person. I will also have everyone use PayPal or Venmo for payment and signup information to avoid any close gathering during initial sign ups on the first day. Information on how to do that soon. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy! See you soon

I know it's going to be cold tomorrow and possibly raining or snowing. I will wait to call class in the morning after there's a better idea of what the weather is doing. Too many times I called it the night before and it ended up being sunny. I only call for rain or snow. Dress warm! I suggest gloves and a beanie if we do meet. If you do not hear from me class is on!

Congratulations Basic Obedience and Level 2!

Graduation day for Basics and Level 2! And back to class for Puppy! See everyone in a bit!

I'm so excited to bring home to everyone all the things I've learned while getting my Advanced Marine Mammal Trainer Certificate! Definitely some new skills I'll be implementing in future classes and lessons and experience with lots of different species! I'll see you all when I return, exciting things coming up!

I understand today will be hot. I will try my best to make classes as speedy as possible without missing anything we would normally be learning. Classes are about 45 minutes to an hour normally so thankfully they aren't too long. Make sure you bring water for yourself and your dog! See you soon!

I recognize the air quality is super bad right now and some people might be worried about breathing in all the smoke. I will try and speed everything up today so you aren't out as long and our walking around should be minimal. See everyone later!

New classes start Saturday! All but level 2 are full! I had several who were interested in level 2 who haven't signed up yet! Make sure you do BEFORE Saturday to get in!

There is only 3 spots left in the August Puppy Class, if you're hoping to get in, I'd register soon. If it does end up being full by the time you sign up you can register for Basic Obedience instead. They are fairly similar. The puppy class is just geared towards puppies and has the extra week so just a little more instruction and the opportunity to test for the AKC Puppy STAR.
