Cooler weather always means Baked Brie in my house. It is one of my most favorite foods....especially the way that I'm preparing them this year! I cut the brie wheel in half and put dried fruit in the middle. I replace the top half of the brie and wrap the wheel pastry. I add fruit preserves and more dried fruit as well as decorative stamped pastry on top. Cook them at home for 20-30 minutes(depending on the size) inside a tart or small pie pan. Serve with a sliced baguette and you will be in HEAVEN! We are making Fig, Cranberry/Raspberry, Dark Cherry, and Apricot.... But you can ask for custom flavors at the cheese counter when making them. These are perfect appetizers for your Thanksgiving meal.
