The Tournament of Roses invites Pasadena Unified School District students to participate in their first-ever Día de los Muertos Masterpiece Art Competition - Entries due Oct. 28. Thanks to our community support of PEF's Response Fund, more than 150 Pasadena Unified School District elementary and secondary teachers are participating in Creative Wellbeing: Arts, Schools, & Resilience. This program gives our teachers the tools to "help heal and inspire" by incorporating healing-informed arts strategies in classroom and campus activities; shifting the emphasis from the trauma to the healing. Grab & Grow kits will include materials donated by The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens. Pasadena Museum of History has donated the book, "Painting the Beautiful".
