Up for your consideration: sisters Fiorella and Angelina are ready for a home of their own. Fiorella is a domestic long haired female brown tabby with white markings. Angelina is a domestic long haired dilute calico. These sisters are both around 10 months old, and as affectionate and loving as you could imagine. They long for human interaction and attention. They lounge on and groom each other. Their long coats are thick and silky. They are really beautiful cats! They are great with people of all ages, fine with other cats and dogs. For the adoption fee of $36 each, they will be spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and give you a lifetime of love. Come meet these beautiful sister cats

UPDATE: ADOPTED What do you get when you cross a Dachshund and a Staffordshire Terrier? Aster the 8 month old female chocolate and white package of love. This little 20# sweetie is full of affection, snuggles, love for everyone. Good with people of all ages and other animals. She keeps a tidy little kennel, which gives us a good indication she’ll be a clean housemate. She would adapt to pretty much any lifestyle as long as she gets to be with her people. Aster will be spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped for the adoption fee of $65. Come meet this sweetie today: we don’t get this size of dog in very often.

HEAT ADVISORY FOR YOUR PETS!!! While we are experiencing a heat spell this week, I think we can all agree its going to be hot from here on through to the Fall. Below we list some helpful pointers for your pets to help cope with these stifling temps: ~ keep fresh water available at all times. For any animals that spend time during the day outside, we recommend running water such as misters and even ice blocks to help them cool off. Standing water in a dish, bucket or even a "k...iddie pool" will heat up in no time and offers no relief. Also offer plenty of different water sources throughout their access area. ~ For outside pets: shade. please remember that even though a tarp offers shade, it actually heats up and creates the opposite effect of what we are hoping to offer. Dog igloos and other plastic type shelters also hold and conduct heat. Covered patios, insulated open shed/barns, shade trees, shade cloth all offer some relief. Fans on patios or in barns are also helpful (if they are in a safe location) ~Asphalt/concrete/gravel. These sources heat up and can leave your pets with blisters on the pads of their feet. If you must walk one of your pad footed critters across these surfaces, try using a pet shoe or sock, hosing the area down, or if you're able to carry them across or even avoid it at all. ~Exercise. limit your pets exercise during the afternoon and early evenings. Pets can suffer from heatstroke or worse, within 15 minutes. ~vehicle travel. Please leave your pets at home instead of taking them to run errands or appointments. Unless there is another person who can wait in the vehicle while you run your errands and sit with your pet while the air conditioning is running, please leave them at home. We would also like to address transporting of dogs in the open bed of a truck; bed liners (both plastic insert and spray on, as well as raw metal, are all hot and create the same sort of scorching floor as asphalt. We highly recommend transporting in the cab of a truck where the dog will receive relief from the sun and hot truck bed. These rules apply to any pets we have: large, small, livestock, etc. They all rely on us to provide for them. We realize not all pets and/or lifestyles can accommodate a pet lounging inside the home with the AC on full blast and a cold bowl of water. Thank you for watching out for our 2, 4, many legged and no legged critter friends. If you notice an animal suffering out in this heat, please contact your local law enforcement to handle it. Stay Cool!
