MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: DR. CAROL SOLOWAY HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER OF PTC? My husband and I have been members for four years, but it seems like we’ve been home forever. I was a member of JWTC from 1983 to 1990 and then joined other clubs, but nothing even compares to PTC.... HOW OFTEN ARE YOU PLAYING TENNIS? I play every single evening and weekends. FAVORITE TENNIS MEMORY? The day Ken Stuart took over the club, there was a ceremony and there was a charity raffle. I bought one raffle and won the grand prizea trip to London!! FAVORITE TENNIS PLAYER PAST OR PRESENT? I love watching Martina Hingis and Paes play doubles. TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AND WORK. My wonderful husband, Wayne Bayliss. and I have five sons and 12 grandchildren, from three to 23 years of age! As a chiropractor and state-appointed Qualified Medical Evaluator, I work full time at offices throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. I’m also an international bestselling author with two published novels, SEX HAPPENS and GRACIE’S GONE, and a children’s book, THE SURPRISE CIRCUS. There was a great turnout for the annual Rally for the Cause event last night. Organizer, Cyndie Martin said, "it was one of the most successful events we have had for fundraising! Thank you everyone!" You can still donate at breastcancerangels.org

Long-time member, Don Lewis lost his battle to cancer earlier this year during the Covid shutdown. Don’s family and Palisades tennis friends would like to honor Don with a fundraiser event to benefit his favorite charity, Meals on Wheels. ... Peter, Cyndie, and Earle invite you and your friends to join us for an afternoon of fundraising and to enjoy Don’s favorite pastime, playing tennis.
