SPECIAL MINISTRY TRUST FUND: LAST CALL FOR PROPOSALS Due to COVID-19, the Palisades Lutheran Church SMTF Trustees have extended the deadline until September 20, 2020, for this year's written proposals from members for our annual distribution(s).... As a reminder, the use of the fund is visionary and the same beneficiary may only receive funding for two consecutive years. The distribution should be made with particular emphasis on extending the life and mission of the church which would include religious, educational, and charitable work of PLC and its environs. Not less than ten percent of the annual income should go for Kingdom work outside the Congregation. The balance is for Special Ministries purposes to stimulate new directions in ministry or underwrite worthy projects not provided for in the operating fund. Proposals must include: a) Descriptive Title b) Background for the Proposal Sufficient to Give Understanding of the Project c) Reason for the Request d) Dollar Amount Requested e) Name of the Proposer(s) All proposals should be submitted to the Special Ministry team, by one or more church members, no later than September 20, 2020. This will ensure the committee has ample time to review every request prior to publishing all qualifying proposals in the October Connection newsletter. We also ask that you prayerfully consider donating to the principal of the fund anytime throughout the year. This will never get touched and the interest will help spread the good news every year!
