As special needs parents, the support we gain from each other is immeasurable and so important as we navigate the path of our child's journey. Our specific disability or diagnosis may differ but our struggles and victories are alike. Organizations such as PEP (Parents Empowering Parents) are a great local resource and opportunity for parents to connect, share stories, and lift each other up...check them out!

I am so freakin’ excited to FINALLY announce that the Pahlavan Law family will be complete as of August 1st with the addition of Caretha Lau. She will be joining Amanda L Ruiz, Janette Malanowski and, of course, Taylor Soares. I do a lot of cases involving domestic violence. Emotional abuse called gaslighting is a common theme in many of my cases. I think it’s worth paying attention to the signs. It doesn’t just occur in romantic relationships. It occurs in families, among colleagues and even in friendships. If someone in your life is trying to manipulate your thoughts or make you feel like something is wrong with you or the way you think, chances are you are being gaslighted. #DontBeManipulated #KnowTheSigns #JustBeYourself
