Walk-in cold storage manufacturer located in Apple Valley, CA is looking for a hard working individual that has the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and adapt to multiple job functions. A background in construction and/or sheet metal fabrication is desired, but not required for the quick learning hard worker.... Requirements & skills: This job mainly consists of the construction and assembly of individual walk-in cooler components. Requires using metal working equipment such as shears & brakes to form sheet metal, manufacturing foam components used in the construction of the individual panels, utilizing Spray Polyurethane Foam machines, ability to use & read a tape measure, ability to read & interpret plans and shop drawings, ability to safely use power tools such as circular saws, drills, planers & air tools. Ability to communicate in Spanish & English a plus. Must be authorized to legally work in the US. Benefits: Paid Time Off Medical insurance $15/hr starting wage with possible increase after 90 day probationary period. Opportunity for advancement and annual merit increases. Schedule: 10 hr shift (5am - 3:30pm), Monday-Thursday. Occasional opportunity for overtime. Must have dependable transportation to our factory in Apple Valley, CA.
