Fun Fact: Early on, you’re hunting a lot of young birds, and I swear, they must have ADD worse than a squirrel, because movement and motion captures their attention like cake for a fat kid. (err so I’ve been told) How do you get that movement and motion? For me, and the rest of us in states where battery powered spinners aren’t legal in the early season, it’s making sure I have the absolute best wind spinner I can get.... Maximum movement with minimum wind, because early on, you’re more likely to get carried off by mosquitos than have a good, stiff North wind. What’s the best one you ask? I’ve tried every single wind spinner I can get my hands on, and BY FAR, the best has been the Revolution Waterfowl full body spinners. They look real, not like a dang weather vane, but more importantly you can just about blow on them and they’ll spin all day.
