Hook, Line, and Sinker - Hindlegs need to reach further under Part 2 (part 1 posted 6/9/2020) Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. Mark Twain My previous introductory observations about what we’ve always heard, and beliefs, and mindless acceptance apply to these following observations as well. This is another example of common things that judges and instructors say, that just may not be so, even though we acce...Continue reading

Our June show had so many highlights it was tough to just pick a few! Enjoy a few of our show photos and stories about a few of our riders.

Osierlea 20.07.2020

Our June 2020 show is in the books! Thank you to all those who came out and showed. Running a show with Covid 19 protocols was a challenge, but we are so happy we did it! But this post is a HUGE thank you to all the volunteers to help run the show. Our volunteers are amazing, and we are so so so grateful. There is no way we can host any of these shows without the army of volunteers it takes to run an event like this. Without the volunteers, we could not offer shows. It... is as simple as that. We owe our shows success to you. If you were a volunteer, please drop us a note and let us know how you liked the show, and what you would like to have done differently. If you were a rider, please leave a comment about something a volunteer did to make your show weekend a success. Cheers!

It goes back to my ever-mentioned problem of the rider who is not a thinking, empathetic horse person or animal person. It has become worse over the years, as riders are less often farm folks who have grown up with the necessity of cop...Continue reading
