PLEASE SHARE, LET'S FIND HER A FUREVER HOME! MISSY has spent more than 6 years at our shelter. She's about 8 years old. THAT'S 75% OF HER ENTIRE LIFE!! She was brought to us after someone seen her running after the car she was dumped from. When she was unable to keep up with them, the person called her over and found a note pinned to her collar that read, "My name is Missy, please find me a good home." Missy likes cats a little too much, but not in a good way. So NO CATS. Sh...e is also REACTIVE WITH OTHER DOGS. So she will thrive best where she can truly shine in home where she is the ONLY PET. There has been NO REACTIVITY TOWARDS PEOPLE. She absolutely loves to ride shotgun in a truck. The last time she was able to sneak past one of the kennel workers, she was having the zoomies out in the yard, so we opened up the truck door and she ran over and jumped in. It took us twenty minutes to be able to get her out of the truck, even with a leash on, we could not pull her out! She is a very sweet old girl, she's pretty quiet, only barking when someone shows up, she doesn't care too much for balls, but she loves to either go for a hike or be a couch potato, she seems to be good at doing both. Missy needs an experienced owner, who has the time, patience and would be a responsible with her, while giving her the love and reassurance she needs to live out the rest of her life in a happy home. Courtesy post: Help me Find my missing cat!! Her name is princess, she is around the age of 4, she is a short hair orange and white tabby cat. She is pretty small and skinny. She has been gone since mid September. She is not like other cat. She like to be independent , and very timid, so she would run away from other people and other animals. She is an indoor cat, but likes to go out every night to pee or poo. She would come back around the morning, but she hasn’t came back. So It really unusual that she hasn’t came back. So please keep an eye out for her, if you live around the Tehama st Area in Orland. If you think you might have seen her outside the Tehama st area in orland still let me know. #otchsmissyupdates Missy's biopsy came back negative for cancer! Now that she's on the road to recovery, the finish line is within sight, her perfect forever home! We can assure you our adoption coordinator is working hard to make sure that Missy makes it to the finish line safely and happily. Stay tuned for the next update!

He's a sweetheart who can be a little standoffish when it comes to meeting new people, but we can assure you after taking him out for a walk once or twice, he will become your best friend. He's dog friendly, and has not been tested with cats. For more info on how to adopt this guy, please contact Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue.

We have a new handsome dog available for adoption! His name is SIMON. He's a big teddy bear, who loves going on walks and loves people. Unfortunately, he's not dog friendly and hasn't been tested with cats. Come on by to meet him during regular business hours: Monday-Friday 3-5pm and Sat 1-3pm. CLOSED THURSDAYS & SUNDAYS.

Effective immediately: Because we have had a huge influx of mama cats with kittens in the last two weeks, we have hit our max capacity limit for kitty housing. Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to accept any cats/kittens until further notice. Please check with the surrounding animal shelters if you have any cats/kittens needing to help! <3...
