If you missed out at home COVID rapid test drive-thru pick up this morning you still have time to make it on Monday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The drive-thru will be at the OUSD District Office, 903 South Street. These test kits are for OUSD students only. OUSD has received rapid at home COVID tests, from the State, to distribute to our students. These tests are for OUSD STUDENTS ONLY. Each student will receive 1 test kit, each test kit contains 2 tests. These tests are to be used at the parent’s/guardian’s discretion. The District will have a drive-thru pick up at the District Office, 903 South Street, on the following days: Friday 1/21/22 - 7:30 am-12:00 pm Monday 1/24/22 - 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm ... Reminder, you may also visit www.COVIDTest.gov to order additional free COVID tests from the Government. OUSD ha recibido pruebas para el COVID que se pueden realizar en el hogar, de parte del Estado, para distribuirlas a nuestros estudiantes. Estas pruebas son SOLO PARA ESTUDIANTES DE OUSD. Great News OUSD Community: Our waivers have been approved! More information will be forthcoming soon. Good Job Orland! Remember we have to keep our case numbers low to keep our students in school and our community safe. Keep wearing those masks and doing the social distancing!

We're headed in the right direction!!! Our cases per day dropped from 5.9 to 3.1, and our positivity rate went down from 11.7% to 6.1%. Let's keep it up Orland! Help us get our students back to in-person learning. As long as our numbers remain high, we cannot provide in-person learning for all students.... The chart below compares Glenn County to our northern neighbors. We currently have one of the highest infection rates in the State. Let's wear masks, avoid gatherings, and do all the other things necessary to help slow the spread of COVID.

More internet access thanks to Orland Public Library! OPL has installed internet access with signal strength powerful enough to reach into the surrounding parking areas. If you need access for your child, you might consider parking outside the library and accessing their network. Select either of the networks: Ofl-school access-2.4 Ofl-school-5. ... OUSD will be hosting a Community Meeting regarding TK-6 Waiver submissions and the long term plan for reopening the schools. The meeting will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, September 16, at 7pm.
