Reflect and Share The Good Of 2020. The deadline for the last issue of the year is Thursday, December 10. Share Christmas wishes, Santa letters, or favorite holiday photos. Email [email protected]
The early deadline for the next publication is November 25. Out to public December 4. 2020 has brought a lot of difficulties and undoubtedly some will struggle to find things to give thanks for with the coronavirus pandemic on our minds. That’s not only okay, its normal. It may help to start giving thanks with something small; for example, the hot cup of coffee that warmed you up and got you moving this morning. Or maybe it was a pleasant conversation you had with someone dur...ing your day. Perhaps you got that perfect parking spot today. Whatever it is for you, start with that. Now think about how you can share this with your family and friends as you go into the Thanksgiving holiday and how you can make gratitude part of your holiday celebration Thanksgiving reminds us of the opportunity to look for the helpers and the chosen family in our lives and to remember that we TOO can be that person for someone else. We remember all the daily little things we have to be grateful for, we remember that each is a tiny miracle and that there is always someone who would be grateful if we shared our tiny miracles with them. The word Thanksgiving is easily translated as giving thanks. Through time and traditions, this widely celebrated holiday has held different connotations for individuals, but the importance of showing gratitude remains as important as ever. In a year that has brought challenges to all - how do we give thanks during a time when we might not be feeling thankfullet’s take a moment to ponder. See more
