To all tole painters, OCTDP is hosting a CLEARANCE YARD SALE of Art Supplies, surfaces and Books/Pattern Packets. This Friday, July 17 , 10 am to 3 pm at Rose Melgoza's house located at 2561 W. Roven St. Anaheim CA 92804. Everything Must go. We deceived 3 large donations with lots of quality pieces to paint on. Wood, metal, glass, teapots, serving trays, ceramics, paper mache, Wood violins. Books are 5 for $1, pattern packets 10 for $1. Quality stuff at Bargain prices, lots of craft supplies and decorations too. Parking on street okay. Come, bring your friends, you won't be disappointed.

I just finished painting this Deb Antonick design called Stay Gnome. I found the pattern on the decorativepaintingstore.com website. I painted it on a canvas bag that I will use for grocery shopping. It will make me smile and hopefully others as well.

finished the hanging banner where I used weathered wood glaze on roklon fabric. dramatic affect I love to get the farmhouse look.

I have been working on a new project that needed a weathered look. I used this product from Valspar weathered crackle glaze. It was easy to use and came out with dramatic results. Applied the glaze over a dark basecoat. Thin layer, let it dry for 1 hour, then applied the chalk paint topcoat. Other crackle mediums haven't looked as good. I recommend this product. Bought it at Lowe's. Stay tuned when I finish this Roklon Banner.

finished this. It was Pinterest inspired. Hearts was inspired by a friend. I think I'll add some lettering, Love you More. Hearts with different stencils over them. fun to do. change to various different colors next time.
