Let's talk about love on Valentine’s Day. Love at a time when many of us so badly want to be with loved ones. At a time when social distancing means the hugs we crave might not be possible for some time. Now consider a child born without love. A child who might never learn to form relationships. A child whose own development will be literally limited by a lack of love. Consider the migrant worker whose love for their family and duty to provide keeps them away in far-flung fac...tories. Or those, like these children, in OneSky’s Early Learning Center in Vietnam who followed parents to Da Nang’s industrial zone. But now their moms and dads have no choice but to work such long hours. Children need constant love. It’s how they grow, develop and learn to love for themselves. We must never forget that these are the children who will shape our future world. And when they do, we desperately need them to have love in their hearts.
