First off thank you to @jillbonny_horiyuki for spearheading these actions to help us get back to work. -Although our Governor has issued new guidelines permitting the reopening of personal services such as tattoo shops on June 19th. San Francisco tattoo shops WILL REMAINED CLOSED until mid-August unless we SPEAK UP!!! Let your voice be heard. TODAY is a Board of Supervisors meeting. We need you to call in and let them know you SUPPORT ITEM 28, Dr. Tomas Aragon and that tattoo... shops be allowed to reopen on June 19th along with many other personal service businesses in the state. This is our ONE SHOT at getting reopened before August 15th. Help us get our artists back to work. We’ve done our part and are prepared and confident we can provide our clients with the safest, cleanest, most sterile tattoo environment we are able to. Well folks, today would’ve been the party to celebrate 17 years of One Shot Tattoo Studio in San Francisco. Instead we’re all doing what we can to stay safe and (hopefully) sane through this craziness. The best way to do that is to constantly remind ourselves of the multitude of things we can each be grateful for right now, in this moment. Food, shelter, family, faith. It’s easy to fall into anxiety and fear, but gratitude pulls us out of those feelings quickly.
