Thank you to the Rogers family for opening up this private access to aid our locals in need. D & G would also like to remind those who use this road that this offering of passage is a neighborly gift, made by the land owner. Sonoma Country has no say in whether or not this road is opened. The emergency access road is private property and does not have to be lent to others than the actual residents of the property. All upkeep of this road has been solely at the property owners cost. We ask that the neighborhood and the local community consider an upkeep fund so as to aid in the cost of road repair. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Rogers. With rain predicted today and later this week, Sebastopol residents can pick up sandbags behind the Youth Annex at 425 Morris Street. Shovel, bags and sand provided for use, but you will need to fill the bags your self.

THANK YOU FROM D & G EQUITY AND RUSSIAN RIVER VACATION HOMES! Our Annual Holiday Social was a huge success! Thank you everyone who joined us in making our event once again a memorable evening! The community spirit sparkled through with glowing smiling faces and the wonderful Parade of light floats showing off their creation and beauty. We are a town to be reckoned with!... We want to give special thanks to our D & G Equity and Russian River Vacation Home clients for your continuing support every year. You hold a vast part of our success and longevity. Mr. and Mrs. Claus flew in to join us passing out gifts to children of all ages. Thank you Mr and Mrs. Santa! Hats off to Andy and Shannon Amaya from Flavors located on Main St, across from Safeway donating gift cards as one of the presents given out. Gifts were purchased by our go to local Guerneville 5 & 10 who’s spirit forever shines in our community. Robin, Karen and Cindy, keep the light on! There is Jerry Knight and his elves who supplied Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus chairs to greet all who came. Many thanks! Our extravaganza menu for the evening included several homemade dishes; Sausage and peppers soaked and slowly cooked in red marina sauce. Fried chicken based and baked in rosemary lemon sauce sprinkled with a hint of Thyme. Grilled moist olive oil and buttery garlic bread. Hot savory, warm chili pallets choice of meat or veggie. Moist bright yellow savory corn bread fresh out of the oven fried chicken, pork and potato taquitos that were jumping off the table onto plates. Various rustic and light flaky puffed crusted Quiches Sharp, crisp vegan spring rolls along with vegan pasta salad. Walnut cheese cake that only in a blink of an eye remained on the table. Hot chocolate and apple cider were among beverages served with assortments of cheeses, dips, snacks many sweet desserts. Higher Ground Coffee joined us and served free Coffee and herbal Tonic. You are all are the best! We raised over $500.00 for the Guerneville School Art and Music program and 100% of the donations will be given to F.O.G.S. {Friends of the Guerneville School} to distribute to the program.
