It's Tax Day 2021 (for most). You know what that means. Hopefully your docs are all wrapped up by now. If you're not ready and you need more time, you can have it -- but you do have to file an extension by today. Give us a call if you need help.

There is a major funding shortfall in the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) program that kicked off last Monday. Congress allocated only $28.6B for the program, but in less than 10 days, the applications submitted exceeded $65B in requests for aid. The first tier of funding was allocated for eligible businesses owned by women, veterans and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, but those applications alone totaled $29B, which means there is nothing left over ...for any remaining applicants. We don't know what will happen yet -- if Congress will allocate more funds or not. But we will keep you updated. In the meantime, if you haven't yet submitted your application for aid from the RRF, you should do so immediately. The application portal is still open, as of this posting.

The SBA has stopped accepting new PPP applications as most of the funds for the program have been allocated. So, if you didn’t already apply for a PPP loan for your business in this funding round, you’ll no longer be able to do so.
