Today Shane Cook completed his goal of running 12 marathons this year...and doing it in style by finishing at our new CHOC Center! Over this year he ran them in many states and threw in some ultra-marathon and trail races. He did this all to Celebrate 12 years of OMF Global and 15th anniversary of Team Jake! He wanted to raise awareness and inspire us to keep pushing our limits. With the new Center opening and utilizing the Team Jake Virtual Training Room to train organiz...ations globally now, we are again pushing the limits to how we can impact even more families with disabled children. Shane and us have committed to raising the final $85,000 needed for the last 3 pieces of equipment to complete this Center. We are asking if you can help us reach that goal by giving any amount possible. What better way to end the year and know that 100% of all donations ALWAYS goes directly to this! We'd say the new Team Jake Campus in Uganda is a big hit! Love seeing all the people it is serving. Fun fact: The children in blue shirts are in-patient, meaning they live on the campus as their surgeries were severe enough that they need recovery and long term care in the best possible place. The children in pics #2 and #3 are outpatients that come just for their appt. Pic #2 is the Physical Therapist teaching the mother how to do some exercises they can do when not at our Center. Special thanks to Adina Foundation Uganda for working through all of the challenges they are facing w the government mandates and school closures. Proud to be supporting you and seeing how much you are helping your communities. Just amazing people and organization

We only have 1 annual event and the reason we don't do others each year is that there is simply nothing that compares to the experience of the Team Jake Water Station every year at the OC Marathon It's where it all truly began for Team Jake! To come honor the amazing boy who's beautiful smile and huge heart inspired the birth of OMF Global. The energy that is created every time at our Water Station is indescribable and totally infectious. Where everyone focuses on what mak...es us all beautiful, equal and centered in love We share that w every runner that comes thru and leaves our hearts full with selfless and free spirit that is Jakey. We share openly and never forget what makes us feel accepted and loved unconditionally for those hours on the course. As Jakey's Dad says, "All love here". Beautiful reminder for us all to stop building barriers to see the beauty in others and acceptance of each us as we are. There is nothing like this day on the planet for us and we are so glad we could be back to here after not having the race last year. Happy 15 Anniversary to Team Jake and thank for being our greatest reminder of loving all and accepting each of us exactly as we are. We miss you greatly and doing our best to share with the world your amazing spirit! PS - wasn't planned as had some no-shows and last minute cancelations, but we had 15 volunteers on the 15th Anniversary. I'd say it was all arranged by Jakey exactly that way. We are proud to announce the opening of our newest & biggest project ever, Team Jake Campus in Lira, Uganda The campus has 7 buildings including Physical & Rehabilitation, 2 classrooms (for children who have long recovery periods to not fall behind in school back in their villages), boys and girls dormitories, nursing care, offices and large kitchen. We are so proud to support Adina Foundation Uganda in the amazing efforts to serve Northern Uganda. Happy Anniversary to us w a new website! Crazy to think in just 12 years we have Team Jake Centers in 5 Countries spread over 3 regions of the world! Thanks to everyone who helped us in getting to this point! So many people and their generosity got us here! We are just hitting 2nd gear Special thx to Mike Sunyich for re-doing the entire website to reflect where and whom each of our Centers are and supporting! Huge thanks to the Board of Directors over the 12 years too! They have put a lot into building this Foundation I'm proud to say that 100% of operating costs have been covered for ALL 12 years The plan going forward is we will keep it that way...so 100% of everyone's donations has and still goes directly to these Centers & future ones

Very proud of our program in Limon, Nicaragua through the pandemic & 2 massive Hurricanes that hit the region! Through it all they have shown such resiliency and commitment to the children, families and community we serve together w/ FunLimon Los Pipitos Nicaragua Oficial Special thanks to our program manager Harold Diter Acevedo & support of Bismarck & team. We now support 100+ families and started this whole project from scratch. Magical seeing their hardwork and dedication in building this.

There is something special about a new school year at Faraja They're back to school and ready for all the good things to come! 2021 is all about new beginnings. A new academic year is beginning, and a new class of 24 Kindergarten students is arriving at Faraja. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome them! Pictured is Antony. He is in Class 5 this year.
