On Sunday, April 11 our NC 190 was filled with huge smiles, tons of air high fives and nonstop chicken wing (elbow) bumps as our adults with special needs returned to campus for the first time in over a year. There was so much joy that filled the room you could hear it outside the doors! For 2021, our class focus shifted to how we can take the current situation we’re in and use it to shine the light of Jesus to others instead of continuing to sit and wait for things to go back to normal. I’m so proud of each and every one of our students and hope that what they are doing this season encourages you to look at all the ways you too can share the love of Jesus with your circles and community. -Alise Ramseyer, Special Needs Shepherd

FACES OF OUR FAMILYDavid Kwon Say hi to David Kwon, our videography intern! You may see him taking video or photos at our worship services and events around campus. David loves Hip Hop, R&B, talking to old friends and chili cheese dogs. Something that God is teaching David is how to live courageously.

Merciful God, who sent your messengers the prophets to preach repentance and prepare the way for our salvation: Give us grace to heed their warnings and forsake our sins, that we may greet with joy the coming of Jesus Christ our Redeemer; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy... Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. See more

Join us on Sunday, December 6 at 3:00pm on top of the parking structure for our annual Special Needs Christmas program. This year our students will be presenting Journey to the Manger. The story of Christ’s birth will be told by angels, wise men, shepherds and, of course, the manger animals. Come enjoy music, dancing, and hearing the true meaning of Christmas. JHMFieldwork Fieldwork is our path towards discipleship that all Junior High ministry is walking on this year. Fieldwork is defined as practical work conducted by a researcher in the natural environment, rather than in a controlled setting. Fieldwork is a set of simple tools to study Scripture, pray and take their faith into action to which will be taught while at JHM, and more importantly used and experimented with while out in the worlds they inhabit. A few weeks ago, we placed Fieldwork boxes into the hands of our Jr High students. We challenged our students to take a hold of those boxes and the discipleship tools inside of them like they were taking a hold of their own walks with God. -Becca Stavert, JHM Girls Shepherd

As a church family, we want to model how to be Citizens of Distinction to our neighbors. Of course, a t-shirt does not make one a citizen of distinction but serves as a representation and a reminder of our goal to be light and love to the world around us. We will be taking orders through Nov. 2 (pre-orders only) https://evfreefullerton.ccbchurch.com///1391/responses/new

We are so thankful that Fullerton Free is a multigenerational and diverse church family. We can learn so much from each other no matter the age or stage of life we are in. Words of the Wise will be an ongoing series where we ask seasoned Christ followers in our church body about their walks with The Lord and for any wise or encouraging words they may have for younger Christ followers. Today, we ask Jack to share with our Fullerton Free family about his relationship with God. Watch to hear some of his words of wisdom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xmn7aHYYeM&t=13s

FACES OF OUR FAMILYShelly Swope Shelly has been attending Fullerton Free since she graduated from college in 2007 and was on staff for several years. Throughout her years as part of this church family, has participated in a wide array of ministries including: Women’s Bible Studies, Rooted, the Prayer Team, leading international Mentoring, and more. Shelly is currently the Team Leader for CHOSEN and TLC ministries that serve teens impacted by the foster care system and she ...is part of a LifeGroup here at church. Our church community is a beautiful place to belong and feel seen and known regardless of circumstances. It is a joy and honor to grow alongside people older than me and some much younger than me. God has been so faithful to provide family but it has required releasing expectations, burying dreams, and surrendering to His best for me. This season looks different for all of us, but He continues to reveal reasons to rejoice. Let’s press on and choose joy.

FACES OF OUR FAMILYJackson Hale Jackson is a part of HSM and enjoys serving at Rainbow Express. He is in 10th grade and thinks he might want to be a history teacher someday. He also loves to draw, especially comic book characters from my own imagination. Quarantine has taught me that not every single moment of my life needs to be filled with big exciting things. It has been good to sit with God in my feelings and experience a type of peace that I have not felt before...maybe because I'm not racing around from thing to thing to thing!
