Some of our children returned today for in person instruction. Some chose to continue to learn from home. Praying for the day we will all be together to learn and praise God!

Great News! Trail Life USA is available to OLPH! Come and See is October 6th at 6:30pm! Here is the scoop! " I am writing you all today to give an update on Trail Life USA. As some of you know we have been trying to start a new Trail Life USA troop at OLPH. This organization is a scouting organization, similar to Boy Scouts, but it is faith based. It is for boys only. I have attached a brochure for you to view which will give you information on what TLUSA is and the val...ues they represent. Over the past few weeks I had the pleasure of being introduced to Mark Addis. Mark is a pastor at New Hope Community Church. We got to talking and TLUSA eventually came up during the discussion. He shared with me that New Hope recently completed their charter process and will be holding their first meeting in the near future. After discussing with him, and Mr. Dodd (Principal), we determined that instead of having two new troops with small numbers and in such close proximity, the combining of our efforts into one larger troop would be most beneficial for the boys. A large troop with lots of members and high participation would give the boys the best opportunity at having a great scouting experience. Troop 4620 will he holding their first ever meeting on October 6, 2020 at 1830 hours at New Hope Community Church. It will be an introductory meeting to explain Trial Life and get all boys who are interested signed-up and ready to go. There are multiple ways to get connected with the troop. I feel this is a great opportunity for our boys to get into scouting and to build relationships between the two church communities.
