This is Whitney. She is leading virtual improv tonight at 6! She is also writing this post and promoting yourself at all and in the third person is super weird. Come get weird with Whitney tonight at 6! Link in bio. Whitney has been a longtime admirer of improv (Whose Line!) and in 2016 finally realized she, too, could jump on stage and play! She studied at Finest City Improv and completed their conservatory program in 2018. She performed with A Single Lady (FCI), and seve...ral indie teams before finding her niche narrative improv. From 2017-2019 she performed bi-weekly with Point of Passion - a 1970s Improvised Soap Opera and currently performs with Radio 38, the 1930s Radio Play Experience at Old Town Improv. You can also catch her in the short form show Showdown (OTIC) and her with her indie team SW$CK (Swishcash!)! Whitney love’s that improv allows her to be who or whatever she wants on stage and allows her to feel supported in those choices! See more

We miss being on the stage and having the community fill our theater with laughter! We hope you’re all staying safe and healthy. This clip is from a February Showdown Uncensored show playing Game-O-Matic! You know it’s a crowd favorite when the scene starts w laughter and the hosts edits before the game has even started! thanks for capturing this, Jill! @sexdocjill

Old Town Improv Co. 18.06.2020

We have another awesome virtual zoom drop in tomorrow night at 6! The theme is Being Fearless! And it’s being taught by the incredibly funny and talented Mae Brayton!! Click here to sign up! https://www.tickettailor.com/ev/oldtownimprovcompany/365887 About Mae: Mae has been performing improv for 8 years and teaching for almost 4 since she began with the Armed Services Arts Partnership. She's obsessed with improv and comedy; she's on multiple house and indie teams all around... San Diego and has been in the Conservatory at Second City and taken classes at Groundlings in Los Angeles. Mae has an M.Ed. in Instructional Design (plus some law degrees and an M.A. in Neuroscience, but let's not get into it), and she is thrilled to use all these teaching skills to craft an experience to help you feel connected, powerful, and to tap into joy and laughter. From Mae, "You deserve an outlet, and I know that you will come away with new ways of thinking about the challenges of performing and life."
