Hello Oggi's family, Rianne and I wanted to give you some great news. Oggi's will reopen some time in December or January! We have decided to retire from the restaurant business and Oggi's has been taken over by a great young man and his family. They will be going through some remodeling and updating over the next couple months but it will still be the same great food, beer and service you are used to. Hello everyone, This is Randy from Oggis in Apple Valley. First off, Rianne and I want to thank you all for the kind words and genuine concern. We are trying to get opened again. In addition to the Covid 19 pandemic, we had some internal business problems that had to be dealt with and, we are working on that. As of right now, the plan is to reopen soon. Due to the growing concerns from the Corona Virus and wanting to keep our entire Oggi's family, our town and the adjoining cities safe, we have made the difficult decision to close Oggi's Apple Valley at this time. Our Oggi’s Family is just thata family made up of associates, guests and the communities we serve. The health, safety and overall wellbeing of our family, and yours, is always our top priority. With this in mind, we have been closely monitoring the rapidly-changing situation around COVID-19 (commonly referred to as coronavirus), responding to new information as it arises and preparing for all possible scenarios, with the goal of continuing to safely serve you in our restaur...ants . In addition to following the guidance provided by the CDC, WHO and local health departments, we are regularly consulting top medical experts as we implement our response. Out of an abundance of caution, we have taken the following steps beyond our usual high standards: We prepared our associates and re-emphasized existing sanitation and illness policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, and our practices regarding wearing and changing of gloves. We have implemented enhanced protocols for cleaning and sanitizing our restaurants, including cleaning more frequently and adding additional cleanings with sanitizing solution in high-touchpoint spots. We’ve emphasized what associates can do to keep themselves and others safe, including not touching one’s face, and staying home if sick. We have developed enhanced procedures to assess our associates’ fitness to return to work from illness. Be assured we will do everything we can to continue to serve our guests safely and will continue to closely follow the guidance of the CDC and local health officials.
