We are humbled to be able to support the fundraising efforts of Valley Children’s Hospital through the design of their park, which includes over 94,500 square feet of outdoor recreation space. Valley Children’s Hospital’s mission is to provide high-quality healthcare services to children, regardless of their ability to pay. Next up in our Survey Spotlight Series is boundary resolutions! Project Surveyor Chris is executing an important boundary resolution for a subdivision in Newman, CA. Boundary resolutions play a key role in ALTA Surveys. They are often completed when the limits of a property needs to be identified for development or a sale. Records research is combined with measurements and evidence found by the field crews to come up with a boundary resolution that will be marked and or monumented on the ground when complete. #TeamOdell #LandSurveying

When you think of land surveying, you may initially picture field work. Though the work our field survey crews do is amazing and important, there is a completely different side of land surveying that you might not be as familiar withoffice surveying! For every field crew gathering data, there is a team of office survey staff who are hard at work converting that data into valuable survey products! In this Survey Spotlight Series, you will learn about 7 aspects of office surve...ying. First up is Project Surveyor Uriel working on an important legal retracement! Legal retracements occur when a Land Surveyor needs to identify the limits and placement of a piece of land as it relates to the world around it. These are critical to identifying any irregularities or ambiguities in the piece of land being described and resolving what that description looks like in the real world when it is combined with the data gathered in the field. #teamodell #landsurveying

Parks are no longer being seen as just an amenity, they are now considered essential.
