Orange County Scottish Rite

The Orange County Scottish Rite Valley is pleased and honored to announce the next speaker in our Distinguish Speakers Series program. On Monday September 9th, at 6:45pm, during a tiled meeting, Most Worshipful & Illustrious Brother R. Stephen Doan, 33, will be speaking to us about THE SCOTTISH RITE RITUAL AND ITS HISTORICAL CONTEXT." Most Worshipful & Ill. Brother R. Stephen Doan, 33, is the President and a Fellow of the Philalethes Society, the oldest independent Masonic... research society in North America, and a frequent speaker on Masonic topics. He served as Grand Master of Masons in California in 1992 1993. He also served as Grand Sovereign of the Red Cross of Constantine for the United States of America, Mexico and the Philippines and is its current Grand Recorder. He is a 33 and Past Venerable Master of the Valley of Los Angeles in the Scottish Rite and has been Chairman of the Board of the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles for more than twenty-five years.
