At OC Max Surgery, we go above and beyond to ensure our patients have the safest experience possible when visiting us. In addition to a myriad of new precautions we are taking, contactless temperature readings are done each time a person enters our office. Fully enclosed exam rooms and surgical suites make it easy for patients to keep physical distance from anyone else in the office. We are also limiting the number of people in the office at once by spacing out appointments... and asking new patients to fill out intake forms in the car. For a full and complete list of everything we are doing to keep our patients safe, please visit our Covid-19 page on our website at www.ocmaxsurgery.com.

All we can say is THANK YOU!!! We think it’s hard for us to operate a business under such stressful circumstances, but then we are humbly reminded once again that it’s even more stressful to have a dental emergency during these times. We are in this together, and we are here to make things just a little bit better for you if we can. Thank you to the kind patient who wrote this review for reminding us why we get out of bed everyday.

A huge factor in #flatteningthecurve depends on all of us being vigilant and responsible. Our office remains open to emergency dental cases so that patients do not end up in the ER, creating unnecessary bottlenecking.

The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) is an unprecedented crisis unlike any we have ever seen in our lifetimes. At OC Max Surgery, we want you to rest assured that we are here for you during these tough and challenging times. Our practice has always adhered to and exceeded the disinfection standards set by OSHA, the CDA, and ADA. However, the latest guidelines from the CDC have encouraged even more stringent measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The health, safety an...Continue reading

We have made the difficult decision to close our office for all non-emergency appointments until April 30, 2020. If an emergency happens to arise during this time, please call our office at (714) 838-4141 for further instruction. In April 2020, OC Max Surgery will continue to serve patients with dental emergencies. This is in an effort to continue to support our patients and community, as well as to ease the burden of local hospitals who may be overwhelmed due to COVID-19. Fo...r our emergency patients planning a visit at this time, we want to share with you the special precautionary measures OC Max Surgery is taking to keep you safe: All patients will be screened with a COVID-19 questionnaire prior to their appointment, and Dr. Farshidi will review the questionnaire with the patient upon arrival Patient temperature will be taken upon arrival All staff will be equipped with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as set forth by the CDC and OSHA recommended to limit the chance of transmission We have removed magazines and other items that may harbor cross-contamination from our lobby We ask all patients to fill out intake forms prior to their appointment. An OC Max Surgery staff member will email all the necessary paperwork One patient will be scheduled every hour, providing our staff adequate time to sanitize and prepare for the next patient, as well as limit the interactions of patients during their visit Staff will be going above and beyond the OSHA and CDC recommendations for sterilizing each room and occupied area before and after each and every patient visit. We use hospital grade sanitizers and UV lights to accomplish this OC Max Surgery is unique in that each and every consult room and surgical suite is fully enclosed, limiting the chance for transmission Friends, family, etc. will not be allowed in our lobby. We ask that all visitors who are not our patient wait outside or in the car OC Max Surgery staff are uniquely trained in operating room sterilization guidelines, and we will adhere to these stringent protocols for each patient visit We thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this time.

Dearest Patients, Yesterday the California Dental Association (CDA) announced new recommendations for all dental practices to shut down for 14 days. OC Max Surgery is committed to doing our part to flatten the curve of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) as much as we possibly can. To that end, we shut down our practice as of today for 2 weeks (unless we hear otherwise). Someone will be in our office a few hours a day to answer phones and schedule appointments. We are also doing our ...best to accommodate any patients with a truly essential dental emergency (this will also hopefully will be in an effort to not overwhelm our hospital emergency rooms). We will continue to provide updates as we have them. In the meantime, let’s use this downtime to take care of each other, listen to each other, and be kind. Wishes for love and health to all, The OC Max Surgery Team

Dear Patients, We want to update you all on the precautions and safety measures OC Max Surgery is taking to keep you all safe during these uncertain times. OC Max Surgery is taking recent developments that are unfolding in regards to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) very seriously. The safety of our patients, their families as well as our staff is our top priority. ... The California Dental Association (CDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA) have extremely high regulatory standards for sanitation and cleanliness in professional dental practices. Current regulations are meant to curb the spread of infection of viruses such as human coronavirus. At OC Max Surgery, our staff works tirelessly on a daily basis to uphold these standards. As of now, the CDA and ADA have not recommended the closure of any dental practices. However, if there’s anything we’ve all learned during the last few days, it’s that this is an unprecedented situation which is rapidly changing. As our office, like the rest of you, is figuring out our next steps, we promise to keep you updated. As of now, we plan to open our office to see patients per normal business hours. We kindly ask that if you are ill or have come into contact with someone who is ill, please reschedule your appointment. We will assess the situation as the week goes on and will keep all patients updated. With all our love, The OC Max Surgery Team
