We install any size tanks from a fish bowl to 4000+ gallons. This is a small innovative marine 30g set up for a new client. Ocean Treasures Servicing in San Francisco is looking to hire for a part time position. The position is for a warehouse manager that will also train and evolve to an Aquarium Technician. Job description is below, Warehouse Manager: Beginning pay is $17/hour -2 days a week starting... -Keep warehouse clean and organized -Care for in house holding and display tanks -Light construction assistance as we remodel the place. -As we evolve to open a limited retail area, you will be in charge of sales and customer service -ordering, and acclimating livestock -Train to become an Aquarium Technician -Serve as backup to existing Aquarium Technicians -Assist in larger team jobs such as Tank installs and Tank moves Aquarium Technician: Beginning pay is $25/hour -Manage and care for assigned client’s aquariums -Manage scheduling -Keep good relations with the clients -Keep tanks clean, balanced, and exciting -Identify, diagnose, and set a plan to resolve any mechanical or biological issues related to the aquariums Requirements: -Clean Driving and criminal record -Honest and friendly personality -Able to work independently, organized, and resourceful -Responsive to texts, emails, and phone calls -On time with good general time management -Good communication skills with me or the clients -Basic understanding of saltwater and freshwater aquariums -Basic knowledge of livestock and aquarium equipment -Familiar with power tools -We have service vehicles, but in the case where they are not available, a willingness to use your own car. Mileage will be compensated by standard IRS rates -Preferably live near San Francisco Summary: For the right person, this will be a fun and exciting job. As you evolve to become an Aquarium Technician, it will take you all around the bay area and allow you to work on Aquariums most people dream about. Basic render of our next project. Client had a fireplace here to be replaced by a 7 ft fish tank! We are in mid progress with preparing the space. Our contractors already performed the demolition and removal of the fireplace. While we wait for the tank to be built, a platform will be created to hold the tank.
