To our annual attendees, parishioners, supporters, and patrons, As you may have guessed, the Oakland Greek Festival is not going to take place this year in any capacity. We are, as always, so grateful for your support. We hope to see you all in 2021. In the meantime, stay safe and stay healthy. Thank you.
A message from the Ascension Cathedral regarding our campus.
To our beloved Oakland (and greater Bay Area) community - as you may have heard, we have decided to put the Oakland Greek Festival on hold. Nothing is more important to us than the health, safety, and well being of our community. You have supported us for decades, and we couldn't be more appreciative and more proud to serve this great community. We'll be back for a well needed celebration in the Fall. In the meantime, as you may know, we have been partners with (and used the... festival as a means to donate to) the Alameda County Foodbank for many many years. If you are fortunate enough to be able, please consider making a donation - https://donate.accfb.org/donate-now?COVID19-slider. Lastly and most importantly, we hope you'll join us in thanking, supporting, and praying for our nurses, doctors, first responders, and give special thanks and prayers to our silent backbones right now - our grocery store employees, our delivery people, and to everyone and anyone helping keeping us out of harm's way. Thank you all. Please stay healthy and safe. God bless you and your loved ones.
