O2 Treehouse

It’s hoist day part two in Seattle! Yesterday we got ten feet and there’s another ten more to go today. The team is literally cranking away inch by inch.

25ft always feels higher than it sounds.

Heather had the chance to branch out of the O2 office last weekend and do a little treehouse tour with our family. The branch walk is working wonderfully, and we just have the railings and finishing touches on this fun project to wrap it all up.

It took three days of cranking up in the trees to lift this 10,000lb beast 20 feet. Although I think Alexandre liked it more than filling the whole interior ceiling with the same cedar slats seen here. @iloveslb @daniel_zetterstrom

Popsicle Dream is a two story, lofted and free standing treehouse we built last year for a family who wanted an inspiring place to spend time together and enjoy the breeze through this lush valley on foggy mornings and sunny summer days. The suspension bridge on the left takes you around the thick bamboo grove that cradles and reaches through the structure.

We had a successful pinecone touch up trip two weeks ago with lots of help from friends. The recent forest fires left a thick layer of ash on the windows so we had to do a few rounds of thorough scrubbing. We added some cool new features for future guests as well.
