North Valley Caring Services will be continuing to provide pre-packaged groceries via our Drive-Thru Pantry on Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.! Thank you to our volunteers, staff and generous donors whose consistent compassion has helped serve thousands of community members since March. This Friday, September 4th will be our 50th Drive-Thru Pantry! If you would like to join our team of volunteers, call us at 818-891-0481.

Our NVCS campus was filled with spooky, funny, and creative costumes! Our Drive-Thru Pantry volunteers dressed up as their favorite characters and distributed candies to kids to give them a safe Halloween experience. NVCS' Youth Program Coordinators and volunteers decorated 10 doors and distributed candy to kids as they safely trick-or-treated to each door! With the help and support from KYDS and @schoolonwheels, we’ve built a strong support system for kids struggling with distance learning. Since the stay at home order was enacted in March, we’ve been offering support to over 30 students who are from impoverished communities or are residing in motels.

Get your spooky costumes ready, dress up, and join us at tomorrow’s Drive-Thru Food Pantry from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Last week we received 600 bags filled with encouraging letters, delicious snacks and drinks thanks to @hw_community! These bags were distributed to participants from our Safe Parking, NVCS Classroom, Transitional Housing, Breakfast and Shower programs. We are incredibly happy and grateful to the @hw_community for choosing to give back to the community through NVCS! Check out their amazing work!
