North Country Fair Arcata

Not only is the North Country Fair being honored as a Zero Hero, but one of our very own board members is also being honored for her use of recycled materials. We love seeing Beth's shirts and bags being used by community members around town!

With no physical fair this year, we are looking for ways to feature the artists and crafters who make the North Country Fair so special. Like many non-profits, The Kinetic Lab is unable to hold their annual fundraiser, the Kinetic Lab of Horrors, for Halloween this year, which will impact their operations. Please donate and share to support the Kinetic community.

Since 1974, this third weekend of September has been a celebration of local arts, crafts, music, food and community. The streets and paths around the plaza would be filled with vendor tents and laughter and joy and excitement. We mourn the loss of this community gathering, but also acknowledge every difficult event that has impacted our world over the last year. So many parts of our world are interdependent and we are missing the physical and emotional connections that nourish us all.
