Hello Everyone! We hope you're enjoying your Labor Day weekend! We wanted to let your know that we heard your request to have our events and documents available to you electronically. Therefore we've updated our website to: www.nilesmerchants.org. It is still under construction, but will be fully functional shortly. We have an update regarding the Festival of Lights Parade and we desperately need your support in helping us to continue hosting the event. We have worked out a p...lan with the City to continue this local favorite. We are very fortunate that so many volunteers help us each year and a special thanks to our local Police for helping us with our Tree lighting. This event is always the Friday after Thanksgiving put on by the Niles Merchants Association and Friends. As the crowd has grown from hundreds to thousands the need for more traffic control and Security is required which relates to additional cost. Niles Merchants Association host several fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for the Festival of Lights Parade, see our Website for a list of our spectacular events. If you can donate we certainly welcome and appreciate your support in helping us continue hosting this Annual Family and Friend Event. Thank you!

Mark Your Calendar~ the Festival of Lights Parade in Niles will start at 6pm on November 27th . What a Wonderful Event, come early and Shop Downtown, Have a bite to eat and get ready for a old fashioned parade.

The Annual Niles Festival of Lights Parade is this Friday, November 28th! Please join us for a wonderful night of fun. Here are some details to keep in mind when preparing for your parade attendance: **The streets will close at 4:00PM and reopen at 10:00PM or sooner. On Mission there will be a information sign saying that Niles Blvd. from Mission coming into town will be shut down at 6:00, No traffic will be able to come or go from that time until the parade is over. You ca...n go to Nursery and get in and out of Niles from Hillview. Because the parade has grown the police decided this was best for all safety...* SPONSORS-The Niles Merchants Association is the sponsor of this parade. We also have other sponsors who help make this a fun family event. Niles Electric, Legacy Real Estate and Associates, ERA Powered, Fremont Bank, Niles Main Street Association, & The Florence Bar. There are other businesses that sponsor our parade. The businesses that help sponsor the parade will have a poster in their window stating that they are proud sponsors.
