Today, my walk had a purpose. Last week, I found myself at Coit Tower and marveled at the beauty of the view of the East Bay. Today, I decided to finally make my way to Grand View Park at the top of Turtle Hill in the Golden Gate Heights neighborhood. It was quite the hilly hike, but definitely worth it. The 360-degree views on such a clear day were so calming and peaceful.

I decided to play tourist for a few minutes today and drove up to Coit Tower. Not a bad view of the Bay Bridge from up here. Coit Tower itself was closed to visitors, but you can still enjoy the panoramic views all around.

This post is about Moms and Real Estate. Here’s a photo of me and my Mom sometime in the late ’80s (my spiffy sweater and matching scrunchie headband probably gave that one away). My Mom has always encouraged me to do my best. No matter the endeavor, she’s always also done whatever she can to support my success. Recently, my Mom referred a really delightful client over to me who was looking for a new home. During our search, she ended up referring her daughter, a 1st time h...ome buyer who was looking for a home with her boyfriend, over to me too. Somehow, the stars aligned, they both found homes they loved at the same time. I helped a mother and daughter both submit winning offers on homes within a week of each other and delivered keys to both within a month! They’re all now getting settled into their new homes and I’m so excited for the great times ahead for their families! So here’s to two wonderful Moms. My client, who trusted me to not only guide her but also her daughter through their home buying journeys, and to my own Mom. Thanks to her, this super rewarding and fun experience was possible. Some pretty architectural details in my neighborhood...While there are many things I miss about hosting & attending traditional Open Houses during the weekend, I’m also enjoying taking some extra time to appreciate my own neighborhood right now while adapting to this whole new world of experiencing open homes virtually.
