So I came to find out that Bakersfield doesn't allow fireworks to be set off until the first. So, that being said, I'm rescheduling the firework socialization to Monday, July 1st at 6pm. I will create an event with more information soon! This is Nick, Helping your Pack, One Paw at a Time
Hello everyone, the summer months are upon us so make sure you're keeping you and your dogs well hydrated! Sunday, June 30th (the Sunday Prior to the 4th of July) I'll be doing my annual firework seminar. It is a $50 class for any who would like to attend, and I will be holding the class from 5-6pm on Sunday. Fireworks are a big scare for many dogs, however with proper socialization, it can be easily overcome. ... For more information, please contact me ASAP to lock in your spot. This is a major problem in the dog training community. Everyone who needs a service dog should get one, but if you don't, please stop faking your dog as a service dog. It discredits the program and training these dogs and people have to go through.
Here a little puppy love from Nick's Dog Training

I'm sure this confuses many dogs. Have a happy and safe holiday season! This is Nick, Helping your Pack, One Paw at a Time.
A special thanks to all the military and service dogs who stand beside our veterans this Memorial Day.
This is why I train. Dogs have such compassion as animals, and they love us so unconditionally. However, just like kids, if not properly guided, dogs can make mistakes that can make us want to get rid of them. My hope as a trainer is to give you all the skill and knowledge you need to keep your four legged friend at your side for as many days as possible, and so that you can enjoy all the fun there is of being together. This is Nick, Helping Your Pack, One Paw at a Time.
Sometimes people aren't sure what the different type of working dogs out there, but these three specifically get confused a lot!
Get training early, it solves so many problems that develop later down the road...
