While taking this photo some of the village locals were actually laughing me. But I don't mind that at all. Since gas stations can be far from villages the locals fill up tanks and bottles with "bensin" (gas/petrol). They put them in front of their shops and you can pull up to any of them and refuel, for a little more than what it costs at actual stations. I tried to make conversation with this younger guy filling up my tank, asking what the name of the village was, his name, etc. but he didnt seem too interested in talking to me, gave me my answers and simply told me to be careful riding. Even though the driving age is 16, within any village limits you will see young kids riding around on scooters, but only within the village. This was probably 30 min from touristy downtown Ubud and was probably one of the nicer looking villages.

We havent really shot much footage for the first 2 days we've been here. I guess we have just been soaking it in.... plus I hate looking like a tourist haha. Its funny how a few locals have already looked at me my funny and said "what are you?" referring to my mix of Indonesia. And once they find out my grandparents are from Indonesia they instantly become so friendly. One guy was saying "We have the same hair, same face, same skin." So much fun. Here's a cell phone photo.
