UPDATE 1/17: PUPPY IS SAFE AND BACK IN THE CARE OF THE LOVEJOY FOUNDATION!! From our founder, Erin Lovejoy: "Saying that our community aided in the safe return... of our dog is a huge understatement! OUR community is the ONLY reason this dog is safe! Thank you very much to the entire village and the enormous amount of support, physical help, eyes watching out, all of the leads, phone calls, messages and sharing of this sweet animals life, his future is once again secured. While some of our youth don't understand nor care that all living creatures matter and that there are consequences to their actions, it completely restores my faith when soo many people get involved to make right a horrific wrong. Even though our rescue has heavy security, policies and guidelines that we follow in order to keep all of our animals safe at our adoption events, this has also taught us that there's more we need to do. Not only at our events but one of my main goals will be to continue to educate our youth to become responsible future dog owners. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and deep within our souls, the gratitude is plenty and the appreciation will be forever! THANK YOU!" *********** 1-18-16 VOLUNTEERS needed for hanging flyers today, pick up at Global Pet Food Redondo Beach after 11am today. HELP, SHARE. UPDATE 8:17PM 1-16-16 Thank you to all the community helping spread the word. Many leads coming in, which are being investigated, keep spreading the word and take note of vehicle info change. Just received a call from a previous owner of Ford Bronco II, nice guy gave me licence plate and pic of Bronco.....showed to witness not a Ford Bronco II but we are looking for a WHITE FORD EXPLORER. Anyone know someone who is driving around in this vehicle please call Redondo Beach Police Department or Erin Lovejoy 310-719-5707. Calling all South Bay Volunteers, Redondo Union, South, West, North High, and Mira Costa, some local high school boys stole one of our puppies around 1:10pm today. Boy blonde hair, wearing a red shirt tan shorts is the last boy seen with this pitty puppy, all black white one front patch. He was with a girl wearing blue wind breaker shirts, pretty long blonde hair and four other boys on skateboards, one skateboard had big eye sticker on it. Girlfriend distracted us with desire to volunteer with forms which she clearly when home and printed. Some of the group were seen skidding and speeding out of driveway in white Ford Bronco II while laughing loudly from truck. Puppy was stolen from Global Pet Food Outlet 401 South PCH. PLEASE PLEASE SPREAD FAR AND WIDE WITH ALL YOUR SOUTH BAY CONTACTS. Help us get our rescue puppy back. 310-719-5707. Puppy can be returned with no questions anytime!!
