Dr. Mariam Saada represented Islam in the session called "Promoting Religious Freedom and Human Rights" where she discussed the role of women of faith at The Forum for Freedom of Religion in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. This event was an open dialogue between Columbia and Washington D.C. and was attended by the President of Columbia and the U.S. Ambassador stationed in Columbia. New Horizon's seventh and eighth grade students joined the conference remotely to witness their very own Spanish teacher in action! New Horizon invested in these hands free water bottle filler stations across both Lower and Upper school campuses, decommissioning traditional water fountains to limit touchpoints.
