Accessory dwelling units (ADUs) are now supported by California laws that make it easier to get these units built. We designed this guest cottage/music studio for our very smart clients before the ADU legislation took effect. But the same principals apply to their decision-making of enhancing property value, creating spaces for loved ones or additional rental income, and even a space into which to downsize down the line.

We like this strategy of opening up streets for people to safely recreate.
