Two of our members spent last weekend at the Parliament of the World's Religions 2015 gathering in Salt Lake City. In our discussion circle last night we heard about their experience connecting with thousands of people from 80 different nations who came together with the mutual vision of bringing more peace, justice, and joy to our world. This led us into a discussion about how we activate that energy in our daily lives and we broached the ever-important question, which we encourage you to reflect on for yourself: How can I balance taking care of my own needs with following my true passion and giving back to the world? #2015parliament #worldpeace

"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." Come nurture yourself and celebrate your body this evening at Unity in Marin at 7:15. Pamella Cavanna took her rst Yoga course in 1974 and eventually studied with B. K. S. Iyengar personally. She will share a lesson on the power of Yoga and the connection between Yoga and spirituality. Then we will then be lead in a short Yoga class. Wear comfortable cloth, bring a yoga mat if you have one!
