Classical KUSC included our Tour of Japan mini-festival in their Play On, California article! http://ow.ly/RAV650BYRBM "The New West Symphony has begun its re-thought season with A Tour of Japan, the first of several ‘mini-festivals’ that celebrate other cultures that have helped to create the artistic culture of Southern California. Music Director Michael Christie calls the season Global Sounds, Local Cultures, and for the initial concert, guest violinist Anne-Akiko Meyers performed the Bach ‘double concerto’ with concertmaster Alyssa Park. It’s one of several selections of Western classical music that influenced the founder of the Suzuki method of violin instruction." A reminder that our concert and mini-festival is available On Demand! Purchase your "Festival Passport" https://newwestsymphony.org/tour-of-japan-october/
